Denial

Jesus shared a last Passover meal with his close friends and disciples. He had touched all of their lives in many ways. Jesus chose this time to share some difficult truths.

Denial

A Passover meal; the familiar remembrance of times past.

This time; making new memories.

Remembering him.

The sense of a pivotal moment.

A time of both intimate friendship and cold awakening.

One of us would betray.

All of us would run.

No! There must be some mistake.

Deny him? Me?

I’d be the one, the only one;

I’d stay strong, stand beside him.

Yes I’d be the one.
